Chicago Public Media’s radio program and podcast, This American Life, aired a fascinating broadcast about a young banking examiner’s struggles within the Federal Reserve to regulate Goldman Sachs. Carmen Segarra secretly taped her interactions with co-workers and bankers to expose the symbiotic relationships between the financial industry and its regulators. The story is one-sided, but compelling. A recording and transcript are available at This American Life’s website (www.thisamericanlife.org).
